John 16:23 "In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.”
On that day, a new way of praying had begun as Jesus spoke it into existence. Before that day, they could ask Jesus for anything directly while He was in front of them.
Now, even if Jesus was not with them physically they could pray to God the Father in Jesus’ Name. And God the Father would answer them.
The phrase, “Truly, truly, I say to you,” means that Jesus spoke in His own authority. He declared that this new way to pray to God the Father, was the absolute truth.
The very next day Jesus would go to the cross. On the day Jesus rose from the dead they saw Him again, and they didn’t question Him about anything.
Prayer coaching. God the Father, I thank you for always answering when I pray to you in Jesus’ name.
