We are talking about how you don’t need to be afraid anymore as you walk in the Spirit.

Romans 8:15 “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.”

There is nothing to be afraid of anymore. We all have been bound to something that caused us to be afraid. The unknown can bind us. A lie can bind us. A mistake in our past can bind us. Substances like food, drugs, and alchohol can bind us. Failures can bind us. Other people can bind us. Now, as adopted sons in God’s family, there is no type of slavery or binding that has to remain. Our adoption into God’s family is secure. There is no fear that has to remain. As sons and daughters in the family of God our future is secured. Our present life is being transformed from old to new.

The Holy Spirit testifies that you belong to God. Who confirms that we are children in God’s family? God the Holy Spirit testifies. The Holy Spirit living inside you speaks and confirms your identity. He confirms it with you directly.

You suffer with Jesus so that we may be glorified with Jesus. Living this physical life is difficult and the world hates Jesus and His spiritual children. We suffer because we are hated, but we know that it’s temporary and the glory of the Lord is our destiny.

Prayer coaching: “Jesus, I don’t want to be afraid anymore. Remove all my fears. Confirm to me through God the Holy Spirit that I am truly a child of God. Speak my true identity over me. Jesus, may my suffering for following You lead to more glory with You.”
