Jesus will forgive anyone who asks Him in order to remove their burden.

Isaiah 58:9c "If you remove the yoke from your midst,”

First. Jesus will forgive anyone who asks Him in order to remove their burden.

Second. Jesus wants those who have sinned against you to help remove your burden for what they did to you.

If they asked you to forgive them, and you said no, then not forgiving them is your burden.

Third. If there are people you’ve sinned against, then confess and ask them for forgiveness in order to relieve their burden that you caused.

Fourth. If you’re not willing to forgive or confess in order to help others forgive, the burden of sin remains and is contrary to God’s goal to set people free from sin.
