verse 29

Matthew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

A yoke is used to direct oxen or horses. Jesus will give you a new purpose and a new direction as you follow Him. Jesus is to be the only one directing you.

What kind of leader and teacher is Jesus? Jesus said He is gentle and humble in heart. You will know if He is gentle and humble when you see what He does for you.

If you take the offer, Jesus promises that you will without question, find rest for your soul. You will no longer be separated from God, and you’ll be free from carrying the burden of evil.
