We are talking interceding for others and how they confront God and complain about Him not hearing their prayers.

Isaiah 58:4 "Behold, you fast for contention and strife and to strike with a wicked fist. You do not fast like you do today to make your voice heard on high.”

Fast with the right motive. They humbled themselves. They fasted. They say God didn’t hear because nothing changed. They fasted to win a conflict. They fasted to get back at someone. They fasted because of disagreements. They had the wrong motive. They should fast and pray the way God tells them, and He will hear them and take action.

Fasting includes prayer. They went without food, but didn’t actually pray. They won’t be heard if they just fast and don’t actually pray. Fasting includes prayer. They should fast and pray the way God tells them, and He will hear them and take action.

Prayer is talking with God. It’s a dialogue between them and Him. Fasting is a temporary surrender of something to focus on prayer with God in order to see a desired result. They should pray the way God tells them, and He will hear them and take action.

Prayer coaching: “Jesus, Help (them) to fast and pray with the goals You want for (them). Help (them) fast and pray so that You hear their prayers and answer them.”
