Is your heart troubled? Here’s what Jesus gives you to stand on.

John 14:1-4 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."

Don’t be troubled. Because He loves you, Jesus instructs you to confront your troubled heart. Then He gives you what will help you overcome your troubled heart. He tells you His plan and what is coming next. Stand on what He is about to give you and don’t be troubled.

Believe in God the Father and Jesus. This is more powerful than it appears. Jesus wants you to believe Him in the same way you believe God the Father. God the Father always keeps His word when He gives it. Everything God the Father decides to accomplish He accomplishes. No one can stop Him. Jesus always keeps His word when He gives it. Everything Jesus decides to accomplish He accomplishes. No one can stop Him either. Both of them are always in agreement and won’t stop each other.

There is a place for you in God the Father’s house. There is an amazing future for you. Don’t just look at the past and present and be troubled. Look at your future. Jesus has prepared a place for you in God the Father’s house. It is true. If this wasn’t true, Jesus would have told you. Many know they don’t have a place in God’s house. There are many who haven’t made up their minds to love and follow Jesus. Many hate Jesus and don’t want to be with Him.

Jesus will come for you. You are not abandoned. Look to the future. This life on earth that we suffer in, is not the end. I know that many have said an angel will come for you when you die to take you to heaven, but I take Jesus at His word. He says He will come for us personally. What a difficult and beautiful day that will be.

Jesus will receive you to be where He is. Jesus lives inside you and will be with you in heaven. For all eternity you will be with Him in His presence. Don’t be troubled about your future. You won’t be left to travail someone outside of heaven away from Jesus.

Jesus says you know the way to where He is going. Don’t be troubled about this. Your future journey is secure. Jesus just said He will come for you on that day to take you to be with Him in God the Father’s house. He will be your guide to where He is.

John 14:5-7 “Thomas said to Him, ‘Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.’ “

Where is Jesus going? How do you know the way? Don’t be troubled. Jesus said He would bring you to God the Father’s house. Jesus is the only way there. Jesus always speaks the truth. Jesus gives life. Jesus is the only way to God the Father’s house in heaven.

If you know Me, You know God the Father. Don’t be troubled. You know God the Father by knowing Jesus. Jesus is the exact representation of God the Father. If you see Jesus you have seen God the Father.

Prayer coaching: “Jesus, you command (me) not to be troubled. Give (me) the strength to obey Your command. Give (me) the strength to believe You and God the Father. Thank you for securing a place for (me) in God the Father’s house. Come again when I die and receive (me) to Yourself. (I) know you will bring me personally to God the Father’s house in heaven. Jesus, give (me) the wisdom to believe that You are in God the Father and an exact representation of Him. Give (me) the strength to not be troubled because I know You and I know God the Father personally.”
