We are talking about if you should take revenge or let God be the one to take action.

Romans 12:19-21 “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,’ says the Lord. BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
God will judge evil with the right penalty. You should never take revenge. To overcome evil with good, it is better to let God determine what the penalty should be for someone’s evil deeds. Jesus knows all things and will take the right action.
Heap coals on your enemies head. This is such a powerful description of confronting someone’s thoughts with a burning fire of conviction from the Lord. As you see the need of an enemy and take action to meet that need, even though they hate you, the Lord will convict them in their minds and thoughts.
Don’t be overcome by evil. If you agree with evil by taking your own revenge, then evil can overcome you. Don’t use evil to confront evil. Overcome evil with good.
Prayer coaching: “Jesus, judge evil for me. I will leave room for You to take action for me. Convict my enemies as I obey You. Help me see how I can help with my enemies needs, so that my deeds bring conviction and burn like fire from You. Jesus, Help me not agree with evil, and may I overcome evil with good.”
