Matthew 6:13  “And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

I like the imagery of a fence. When you stand on the fence, you’re stuck between both sides. God won’t let you stay there.

He will push you off the fence and let you be tempted to go to the other side. It’s because while you’re on the fence you are participating with evil and thinking it’s good.

He doesn’t want anyone to be confused and think the dark is the light or the light is the dark. God divides the dark from the light, so that there is no confusion.
