The definition of faith

Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”

Hebrews 11:1  “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

Faith is defined in this way.  God speaks and you hear Him and decide to believe what He said.  Then with assurance that it was God who spoke, you wait with confidence for the fulfillment to what He said.

Do you believe God when He says He will provide for you? Pray that when you hear God speak, you will have assurance that it was God who spoke, and that you will believe with confidence that He keeps His word.

Prayer coaching.  “Jesus, increase their faith. When they hear You speak, give them assurance that it was You who spoke, and give them confidence to believe that You keep Your word.”
