verse 18

James 5:18 “Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.”

Any prayer that God tells you to pray, is always answered.  The real difficulty is confirming whether it was God speaking or not.  Also, God declares things with or without conditions.

In first Kings 18:1, God came to Elijah and told him once again to go to the king, and then God would send rain.  Elijah heard God speak and believed it.  He prayed a prayer of belief or faith based on what He had heard from God.

There are times when conditions are given by God, and they have to be met in order to see the answer.  The rain didn’t come until after Elijah returned, and confronted the king.  Once God’s given conditions are met, then you’ll see an answer.
