John 14:5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"
Thomas was honest and direct. He believed Jesus always told the truth, but this didn’t make sense. Thomas didn’t think he knew the way.
How could he already know the way there. He had never been to heaven, or God the Father’s house. If Jesus left first, Thomas knew that on his own he had no clue how to get there by himself.
