verse 18-20

John 14:18-20  "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.  After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.  In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”

The next day Jesus was put to death.  Three days after that He rose from the dead, and came to His disciples as He had promised.  They saw Him again for a short while, and knew without doubt that Jesus is God.

Jesus didn’t abandon them, and He won’t leave you or abandon you either.  Jesus comes in spirit and lives inside all those who love Him.  If you love Him, you will know that Jesus is God and that He lives inside you.
