verse 24-25

John 14:24-25  "He who does not love Me does not keep My words;  and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.  These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.”

It was God the Father who sent Jesus to earth, and everything Jesus said was from God the Father.  Those who don’t love and follow Jesus, are also rejecting God’s words.

Those listening to Jesus were observing Him as He lived on the earth. This wasn’t a surprise visit like all the prior times in history. Jesus fulfilled the prophecy that God would live and walk among the people of Israel.
