verse 24

John 16:24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name;  ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.”

Jesus confirmed the truth that none of them had ever prayed in Jesus’ Name before.  They would begin fervently praying that night, and the next day, as Jesus was taken to the cross.

They knew Jesus is God and keeps His word.  God the Father did answer their prayers as they prayed in Jesus’ Name.

Full means you are satisfied.  After the resurrection they had so much joy and were satisfied.  The trials come, but you can be joyful and satisfied as God the Father answers you when you pray in Jesus’ Name.
