verse 28

John 16:28 "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world;  I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.”

Jesus didn’t say He was from heaven.  He didn’t say He was birthed out of a person like a mother births a child.  Jesus said He is from inside God the Father.  Wherever God the Father is, Jesus is there also.

Jesus was outside of all that is created, and then entered into the created world. It’s the word for cosmos or universe.  Jesus then left the universe and returned to God the Father. He told His followers exactly where He came from and where He was going.

Prayer coaching. God the Father, thank you for sending Jesus. Help me to understand that You are One God, with Jesus living inside You wherever You are.
