James 4:7b “Resist the devil.”

To live like none of your difficulties involves an evil spirit is to ignore Jesus.  Almost all difficulties include some level of pride and some level of spiritual battle.

Don’t ignore the solution which includes resisting the devil.

In James chapter 4, verse one, quarreling, conflicts, and pleasures are mentioned.  In verse two, lust, murder, envy, quarreling and fighting.  In verse four, adultery.  In verse six, pride.

Any one of these could be an actual unclean or evil spirit, that is attacking you or those near you.

If you resist on your own, then nothing is guaranteed to happen.  If you resist the way Jesus tells you to resist, then there will be a quick result.

If the devil doesn’t go within seconds, and you have resisted, then something might be missing.  You’ll want to go back to Jesus and ask Him what was missed.
