In every decision wives should submit to Jesus’ direction first as they serve their husbands.

Ephesians 5:24b. “…so also the wives [ought to be] to their husbands in everything.”

It’s important to note that the oldest copies of this verse don’t include the phrase “ought to be”. The phrase was added later.

This phrase increases the emphasis on the husband, when the emphasis is truly on Jesus first.

Your husband isn’t suppose to decide for you. In every decision include Jesus.

If your husband asks you to do something, evaluate it and pray to Jesus for direction.
