Isaiah 58:6b “…to loosen the bonds of wickedness…”
So your goal is to fast and pray to loosen the bonds of evil that bind others. It’s not complete freedom from evil yet, but initially there is relief.
Things get a bit easier, but the bonds are still there. Jesus is on the move, so be encouraged to see something good happen to someone. His goal is break off all slavery to sin.
