Isaiah 58:6d “…and to let the oppressed go free…”
Initially, there was some relief, then the straps were removed, and now it’s time for the burdens to fall off.
Fast and pray, for Jesus to set them free from the oppressing burdens. He wants them to be free, so He will take action and remove the oppression.
Will the oppression return? God’s goal is the permanent removal of slavery to sin.
Prayer coaching. “Jesus, show me how You want me to fast for others. Give them relief and freedom from oppression.”
