Isaiah 58:7c “when you see the naked, to cover him.”
Well, the burden is lifted and the strength of sin is broken. But, what about clothing? When freedom from the weight of sin comes, what follows is a longing to be clothed in the Spirit of truth.
This is also the prayer fast God chooses. The goal of God is to set them free from the burden of sin and clothe them with the Holy Spirit forever.
He doesn’t want them to go right back to evil, for lack of spiritual covering. And, it’s also true that you should share physical clothing if they have need.
