John 5:19b “…unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.”
What Jesus does, has to be something God the Father is doing. He always agrees. I want to agree with God the Father in everything, but I’m so easily distracted.
Here’s another one. Jesus is more than just obedient. He does what God the Father does in the exact same way, and in everything He does.
You’re probably wondering how all of this could be possible. You’d have to know God the Father so intimately and hear Him so clearly, in order to make every decision exactly the way God the Father wanted.
Only Jesus lived a perfect life in obedience to God the Father, because He is the One true God.
