John 5:36 "But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.”
Jesus clarified that His testimony is greater than John’s testimony.
The works God the Father gave permission for Jesus to accomplish, testify about Jesus. Jesus wasn’t showing off or prideful when He performed these miraculous works. He did them in obedience to God the Father.
Jesus accomplished the works with His own power without pride, because He is God. There couldn’t be pride, because Jesus is perfect.
