John 5:26 "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;”
In the same way God the Father is life, God the Son is life. They are equals in everything. They agreed that Jesus would be sent into the world in order to offer life. This is still a mystery, how God could come into the world as a man.
Jesus was sent into the world temporarily to live in a human body, but He did not have to be forgiven or given life by faith like you and me. That’s silly, because He is always the Everlasting God and always has life in Himself. God approved and appointed to Jesus in His human form, to have life in Himself because He knew Jesus could not sin.
