John 5:21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.”
Jesus can raise the dead and give life, exactly like God the Father does. Jesus is the resurrection and He is life. He has His own power, to raise the dead and give them life, because He is all powerful.
You’re probably thinking that Elijah did the same thing. Well, God raised the dead for Elijah. Elijah didn’t have the power to do it himself.
Jesus declared that He can give life to whomever He wants. There is no limitation to His power. Because Jesus is God, there are no cases where He’d need help from God the Father to raise the dead or give life.
