John 5:25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.”
The first thing that happens when you disobey God for the first time, is that, your decision to go your own way confirms the judgment that was given. Your spirit is separated from God. This is spiritual death. It’s also true that your body immediately starts to die.
If you wonder if you can hear Jesus right now, you can in your thoughts. Jesus said the hour is now, for the spiritually dead to hear Jesus. Over 2,000 years ago they heard Him speak audibly these words. And since that day, many of the spiritually dead have heard Jesus speak to them in their minds and decided to follow Him.
