John 5:44 “How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?”
Is there any benefit in being adored by others? The glory you receive from each other is temporary, and will keep you a slave to your own desires.
Seek to be honored, praised and loved by God. The glory given to you from God will change you into a new person who is free from slavery to selfish desire. Everything God does for you can last forever.
